SALSA FUTSAL DIRECTOR
Born and raised in Brasília, Brazil, Coach Guti is a passionate father, husband, and follower of Christ. His love for futsal started early, competing in regional and national tournaments, eventually earning a spot at the National College Futsal Championships with AABB/UPIS. His journey continued in California, where he played for Taft College, helping the team reach the Final Four in 2014 and earning 1st Team All-Conference honors in 2015.
After graduating, Coach Guti signed a five-year contract with the Empire Strykers while beginning his coaching career. He has made a significant impact at local schools such as San Gorgonio High School (where he still holds the record for most goals scored) and Chaffey College (Conference Champions in 2022).
Throughout his career, Coach Guti has personally developed hundreds of athletes, and his coaching philosophy focuses on individual growth, teamwork, and the love of the game. In 2025, he accepted the opportunity to lead Salsa Futsal at SilverLakes, bringing his experience, passion, and vision for player development to the program.
